Sauteed Pea Sprouts
Ingredients
- 1 Package of Pea Sprouts ( 8 oz )
- 3 Garlic Cloves ( Minced )
- 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
- 1/3 Cup Water
- 1 Tablespoon Totole Chicken Flavor Soup Base Mix
- 1 Tablespoon Fish Sauce
- Black Pepper To Taste
Instructions
- Wash the pea sprouts.
- In a saute pan add the cooking oil and turn the heat on to Medium-High.
- Once the oil is warmed up add the minced garlic to the pan and saute for about 10 seconds.
- Then add in the pea sprouts and give it a toss.
- Add in the water .
- Also add in the chicken seasoning. Then give the pea sprouts another toss.
- Add in the fish sauce and saute the pea sprouts until slightly wilted.
- As soon as the pea sprouts have wilted immediately turn off the heat otherwise you may overcook the pea sprouts.
- Give it a sprinkle of black pepper and serve immediately.
- ** Total cooking time is about 3-4 minutes as the pea sprouts cook down fairly quickly.
