Sauteed Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients
- 1 LB Brussel Sprouts
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil ( Split )
- 4 Tablespoons Butter ( Split )
- 2 Garlic Cloves ( Minced )
- 1/3 Cup of Water
- 1 Teaspoon Morton Grinder - Roasted Garlic With Sea Salt
Instructions
- Rinse the brussel sprouts in a colander.
- Trim and discard the ends of the brussel sprouts. Then cut in half.
- Place the brussel sprouts in a bowl and pour in 1 tablespoon of the olive oil. Toss to coat.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the microwave . Be sure to cover to prevent any splatter.
- Then pour the melted butter over the brussel sprouts and gently toss .
- Mince the garlic cloves.
- In a pan on Medium-High heat pour in 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Once the oil is warmed up add in the minced garlic and saute for 10-15 seconds.
- Then add the brussel sprouts to the pan. Saute for about 2 minutes or until the pan is dry.
- Then pour in the water and saute for about 2-3 minutes or until the pan is once again dry.
- Reduce the heat to Medium and add in 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Also add in the Morton's Roasted Garlic With Sea Salt mix.
- Saute for about 2 minutes or until the brussel sprouts are as tender as you would like them.
- Total cooking time should be about 5-7 minutes.
