Costco Dinner Rolls – 36 count . Item number 64949 . Price $6.99

I love these Costco dinner rolls and were so sad when they had stopped making them when the Covid pandemic started. I would search for these every time that I went to Costco hoping that they will continue to make them again one day. Finally about 7-8 months later I had found them at Costco once again and I was elated ! I almost wanted to jump up and down with joy ! These are delicious slightly toasted with a smear of butter on them !

I was told by an employee in the bakery that they are now only available during the holidays.

“We freeze bread all the time. They taste great once toasted ๐Ÿ˜

“They are delicious and freeze well.”

“Partially freeze them on a sheet pan first. Then you can put them in a freezer zipper bag and take out a few as you need them because they are not frozen together.”

“Split them is separate bags if you like and freeze them as soon as you buy them. Then take them out and let thaw itโ€™s just as good as fresh. Or even defrost in the toaster over…”

“Recently bought these and they taste just as fresh up to 7 days after your buy date.”

“These are a “seasonal”/rotated item. They weren’t removed because they ‘mold in a couple of days’. Baked goods without artificial preservatives will do that. Seal them well and refrigerate or freeze if you won’t be consuming them quickly. ๐Ÿ˜‰

“I picked those up for a neighbor often. She divided them and put them in the freezer. She never had a problem with mold.”
