Healthy Kale Spinach Berry Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 Cups Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1/2 Of A Banana Slice and freeze
  • 1/2 Cup of Fresh Start Smoothie Blend ( The bag contains a mix of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, kale and spinach)

Instructions

  • Slice half of a banana, place in a zip loc bag and freeze overnight.
  • Pour 1 1/4 cups of the unsweetened vanilla almond milk into a personal size blender. Next add 1 tablespoon of honey, the frozen banana slices and 1/2 a cup of the frozen Fresh Start Smoothie Blend.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Check the consistency of the smoothie. If it is too thick then simply add more of the unsweetened vanilla almond milk. If it is not thick enough, you can add some ice cubes. If you prefer it sweeter, simply add more honey.
  • Enjoy your drink!

Notes

The bag of Fresh Start Smoothie Blend was purchased at Costco and it contains a mixture of frozen blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, kale and spinach. Just be sure that each time you add the frozen blend to the blender that there are strawberries in each scoop otherwise without the strawberries it will slightly change the taste of your smoothie. It definitely tastes better with the strawberries in it!
