Healthy Pina Colada Smoothie

Ingredients

Combine & Refrigerate The Night Before:

  • 1 1/4 Cup Cold UNSWEETENED Vanilla Almond Milk
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Chia Seeds ( Optional )
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Coconut Extract

Freeze The Night Before:

  • 1/2 Banana Sliced
  • 1/2 Cup Pineapple Chunks Fresh or Canned

Add To The Blender:

  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1/4 Cup Organic Unsweetened Shredded Coconut

Instructions

  • In a container combine the Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, Chia Seeds and Coconut Extract.
  • Place the mixture in the refrigerator overnight to allow the chia seeds to expand.
  • Place the sliced bananas and pineapple chunks in a snack size plastic bag.
  • Freeze overnight.
  • The next morning, pour the cold unsweetened vanilla almond milk into a blender. Also add to the blender, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1/4 cup of unsweetened shredded coconut. Lastly, add in the frozen bananas and frozen pineapple chunks.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a glass.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

If you like your smoothie thicker than just use less almond milk.
If you like your pina colada smoothie sweeter than feel free to add more honey.
