Healthy Pina Colada Smoothie
Servings 1 Serving
Ingredients
Combine & Refrigerate The Night Before:
- 1 1/4 Cup Cold UNSWEETENED Vanilla Almond Milk
- 1/2 Teaspoon Chia Seeds ( Optional )
- 1/2 Teaspoon Coconut Extract
Freeze The Night Before:
- 1/2 Banana Sliced
- 1/2 Cup Pineapple Chunks Fresh or Canned
Add To The Blender:
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 1/4 Cup Organic Unsweetened Shredded Coconut
Instructions
- In a container combine the Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, Chia Seeds and Coconut Extract.
- Place the mixture in the refrigerator overnight to allow the chia seeds to expand.
- Place the sliced bananas and pineapple chunks in a snack size plastic bag.
- Freeze overnight.
- The next morning, pour the cold unsweetened vanilla almond milk into a blender. Also add to the blender, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1/4 cup of unsweetened shredded coconut. Lastly, add in the frozen bananas and frozen pineapple chunks.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a glass.
- Enjoy!
Notes
If you like your smoothie thicker than just use less almond milk.
If you like your pina colada smoothie sweeter than feel free to add more honey.
