As per the cooking directions on the back of the package, it says to “Include a small metal container with water close to the heat source for optimal cooking” so in the picture above is how I did it.
I just folded up the sides of the aluminum foil to contain the water during the cooking process in my toaster oven.

If you are planning to make this Morton’s Of Omaha BBQ Beef Brisket Texas recipe, allow 6 hours in the oven as directed on the back of the package. It needs to be cooked for a long time at a low heat for it to be tender. When in the oven, I like to turn the meat over every hour so the juices on the bottom of the pan coats the brisket. It is important to have a meat thermometer on hand so that you’ll know when to remove the brisket from the oven.

My favorite part are the pieces with the fat on them….yummm…they seem to be more tender and flavorful !

The brisket takes some time to cook but really makes an easy dinner ! I just serve it with some broccoli and scalloped potatoes (both items are from Costco as well) ! And I like to use A-1 as a dipping sauce.

It’s not bad so I would say this product is Emily approved ! 🙂
