The Kirkland Signature Fully Cooked Smoked Turkey is a very popular item at Costco and is typically sold in November for Thanksgiving. I had seen so many good reviews for it so I had decided to give it a try. The photo above shows the turkey after it had been cooked. The skin on the turkey came out looking dull and dry but I had rubbed a little bit of butter on it and fixed that issue ! The skin was yummy and probably the best part of the turkey. The dark meat portion tasted like ham and my whole family agreed on it. The turkey might have been a tad salty as well but overall we thought it tasted pretty good. However, I still would prefer a traditional oven roasted turkey if I had to choose one over the other.

“My husband has a big air fryer, we put our smoked turkeys in that to heat them up and makes the skin crispy. Pretty good!”
“Really glad I took the time to read the directions on the turkey tonight. For a fully cooked smoked turkey you still have to cook it for 12 minutes per pound to reach the internal temp that they request. For an uncooked turkey you only have to cook it for 13 minutes per pound. Heads up to all the folks that have the smoked turkeys. Don’t plan on a quick reheat.”
“These are great btw. I cut it up and just heated just the amount we needed. Freeze the rest.”
