Costco’s Beef Bulgogi ( Korean BBQ ) located in the prepared foods section. Item # 36946
I like this Korean BBQ beef bulgogi but I do find it a bit sweet. You will definitely want to serve this over some rice . I like to saute the bulgogi in a pan with some chopped garlic and then toss in some additional sliced onions. I would serve the bulgogi with some kim chi and seaweed salad. The kim chi and seaweed salad are both sold at my local Costco.
Here’s the link for the seaweed salad https://www.eatwithemily.com/azuma-foods-seaweed-salad/ and here’s the link for the kim chi https://www.eatwithemily.com/jonga-kimchi/ .
If you don’t like sweet foods then this Korean BBQ Beef Bulgogi is not for you. If you love Korean food than I would recommend it but not on its own. Definitely serve it over some white rice with either kim chi, a seaweed salad or a Korean salad.
I would recommend it and so the bulgogi beef is Emily approved ! 🙂

“So delicious! We always have it at the house. Add extra onions and eat with rice, kim chee, and sirracha. We add a little water to make it soupy. My kids love it that way.”

“Grill it or cook it stovetop in a pan. Serve with rice and kimchi or buy some red leaf lettuce and make lettuce wraps using ssamjang (you can find this at a Korean market) or some gochujang (if you like spicy – also found at a Korean market).”
“Instant Pot for 35 min on high then 15 natural release. Serve w rice, kimchi, guochang sauce, edamame”
“I add a bunch of the costco frozen stir fry veggies. There’s plenty of sauce to coat the meat plus all the extra veggies”
“It’s pretty sweet, so I don’t recommend if you don’t like that. I love it. Pan sear and serve with rice and kimchi (Costco carries great brands) and maybe a side salad.”
“I cook it about 3/4th the way done in a pan and add a bunch of broccoli fresh or frozen. Then serve with rice”

“Heat it up in a pan, and then I’ll push it to the sides of the pan and leave the center open. I’ll add in 6 scrambled eggs. Let them cook for a bit and then mix it all together. The egg absorbs away some of that sweetness that’s in the sauce.”
” Love it… I add more onions, garlic, sliced green bell or red peppers, pepper flakes…cook it for a while and serve over rice.”
“Love this! I like to add more onion to it and always serve w white rice and banchan (Korean sides). It helps balance the sweetness of the meat and makes for a great customizable dinner.”

“It’s actually very good we cook it all together in a cast iron skillet and it comes out perfect…we prefer it over white rice it’s very good”
“Cook it, then separate the juices and fry again for more of a sear… You can top it off with your desired amount of sauce since some complain about the sweetness.”
“Love this, bought it 3 times.”
“Cook in wok or pan on stove top. Cooks fast. I usually cook it in batches. I serve with white rice and whatever Asian stir fry veggies I have on hand. I top with some Korean chili paste.”

“We grill it in one of those grill baskets!”
“Cook in 2 portions on a skillet until sauce is thickened, add garlic, red pepper and cook with broccoli, serve over rice… Chef’s kiss”
