Costco Rotisserie Chicken

This product comes from the Garden Grove, California location. Please note that each location carries different items so it may not be sold at your local Costco and some items are only sold for a limited time . Products also rotate throughout the year to make room for new products so items may no longer be sold at the time of your visit due to it being discontinued. Prices may also vary. Below are some meal ideas using the Costco Rotisserie Chicken. These are suggestions made by other Costco members .

“I take it off the bone and make a gravy and make hot chicken sandwiches! So good!! Toasted bread of course 😋

“Buffalo chicken wraps or chicken burrito bowls”

“Chicken soup, chicken salad, chicken gumbo”

“Chicken noodle soup ! Shredded chicken sandwich add bbq sauce have pulled chicken sandwiches! Chicken enchiladas! There is a lot of things u can do with the chicken”

“I sauté sliced mushrooms, set aside. Same lg pan, start throwing together wild rice mix (rice a roni) last few min throw in chopped rotisserie chicken & the mushrooms. Done. Love it!! Oh, sauté a bunch of minced garlic w/ the mushrooms!!”

“Chicken Frikassee, make a rue with butter and flour add some chicken broth and curry ,omit the curry if you don’t like it cut chicken in chunks add to sauce serve over rice,that’s what we are having this evening from our leftover chicken”

“Quesadillas. Super quick and easy.”

“I make a hot dish, mix the chicken with green beans and cream of mushroom soup. Put stove top stuffing on the top and bake 350 for 30 minutes”

“One pot Rotisserie chicken with rice a roni and peas. I always put applesauce out as well. Chicken and Stove Top stuffing casserole. Chicken pot pie. All these can be made ahead and reheated while at practice”

“Chicken enchiladas with the green/verde chile sauce they sell. Also have made a low carb version using the crepinis instead of tortillas”

“Wraps, toss with taco seasoning and make enchiladas”

“I make broccoli rice and chicken casserole . Frozen broccoli, rotisserie chicken , can of cream of chicken , rice . Mix bake 350 for 20 min I add a little cheese on top”

“White bean chicken Chile. Follow the recipe for Bush’s white bean chicken Chili. Easy and yummy! Serve with cheese, salsa, chips”

“I make salad with the Mediterranean crunch bag salad. I make a nice chicken salad. Eat alone or on a sandwich, I make roasted chicken sandwiches with baguettes from the bakery. I make a chicken spinach Parmesan cream sauce for over pasta. Can be prepared and heated up. It’s even better the second day.”

“We use tortilla shells and spray or grease pan w olive oil set tortilla in pan add chicken and cheese all to half also add onions or anything else you want then fold in half and heat til all warm and melted and flip to other side. Makes great quesadillas- cut into triangles and dip in salsa or sour cream.”

“Chicken and wild rice soup in the instant pot. Chicken, chicken broth, veggies if your husband isn’t fussy like mine, uncle bens wild rice with packet. Pressure cook 5 minutes than add HWC and a little corn starch to thicken.”

“Sauté red onions for a couple min and jalapeños if u like then add diced or I just shred it by hand add to pan add some taco seasoning and u can make it into taco chicken quesadillas or burritos or tacos … add whatever sides u like for filling in burrito or tacos but can be quick with beans, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, green sauce avo? Or whatever your family likes “

“Kirklands pesto, Angel hair pasta, rotisserie chicken shredded & pine nuts. It’s fast and easy”

‘Shred the chicken put in skillet with butter and add Frank’s Buffalo sauce. Serve on toasted ciabatta bread with a bit of MayoHoly buff chick sandwich”

“Grab a bagged salad kit and add the chicken (the avocado ranch is awesome). Enchilada casserole is quick and easy. Add to Alfredo sauce and broccoli. Toss with tortellini and pesto. So many quick and easy things to do”

“I just made chicken noodle soup with the leftovers. Enchiladas. Quesadillas. All kinds of stuff. We love them.”

“Waldorf Salad with Apple, grapes, walnuts, coconut, mandarin oranges, chicken & mayonnaise”

“Soup. Start with one of the ones in the deli section. Throw in carrots, corn, peas, leftover rice, AND chicken plus some extra water. I get 4x quantity and much healthier. Same with some frozen dinner like Stroganoff. Or plan ramen noodles, veggies, chicken and pesto. More often, we just stir fry 3 types of veggies and add chicken.”

“I diced up all the meat and mixed with pasta and pesto sauce (from Costco) and had a meal for 2+ nights.”


“Cold pasta salad – noodles, mayo, celery/onions, salt/pepper. Or, I tear up and put in a pan with water and taco seasoning, simmer 2-3 min and make chicken tacos or nachos.”

“Chicken Casserole. I also serve the pieces with mash potatoes and veggies (zucchini, onions, garlic , carrots, etc) cooked on a pan with a little butter and olive oil.”

“Easy chix tortilla soup. Broth, jar of salsa, 1 or 2 can of beans, can of corn, the pulled chicken. Heat 5 minutes. Add cheese and chips to serve. Add spices to your taste.It’s my favorite!”

“Make delicious soups and stews! I throw the whole damn bird into a pot and simmer it for hours..then I pick out the meat, strain the broth, and make soups❤️ Chicken tortilla is probably my favorite!”

‘Baked potatoes with refried beans, cheese, chicken, salsa…..”

‘Sweet Hawaiian rolls, cut the whole pack in half like a giant roll, place bottom into casserole dish, mayonnaise and mustard on both sides or bbq sauce, cheese of your choice, chicken, place top of rolls on top, brush melted garlic butter on top, bake until hot. Cut into sliders”

“I just shredded one up yesterday to make chicken fajitas.”

“Chicken enchiladas , chicken tacos, chicken quesadillas, chicken pot pie, BBQ chicken sandwiches, chicken casserole, chicken Ceasar salad, chicken soup(many different variations if this)”

“Chicken Quesadillas. Melt cheese and chicken between two tortillas in fry pan or oven. Serve with chips/ salsa and sour cream for dipping”

“Buffalo chicken dip (we spread it on a wrap or eat it with carrots and celery)Any chicken casserole (poppy seed chicken, oven jambalaya, Mexican chicken and rice, chicken spaghetti)”

“Take it off the bone and serve on a Caesar salad.”

“Make a box of stuffing, mix with spinach and shredded chicken, bake until heated throughout and put some chicken gravy on top the last few minutes…or instead of gravy, put some shredded mozzarella…quick one dish meal..”

“I take it off the bone and mix in into pasta. I add fresh spinach that wilts on the hot pasta, shredded parmesan cheese and some chicken stock.”

“Shred chicken, mix in ranch dressing mix, cream cheese, put in crock pot have as sliders.”

“Chicken stew, chicken teriyaki, pesto chicken pasta. Just need to add ingredients to make those dishes so plain rotisserie won’t get too boring.”

“I’ll shred the rotisserie chicken and mix it with chopped up artichokes and roasted red pepper and then top with Costco goat cheese and eat with wraps. Super quick and easy, can be eaten on the go, and you can make ahead of time 👍🏻

“Not only hot but think cold. I chop it up mix with a little ranch/pickles and make sandwiches. Use tortillas with mayonnaise salad and cheese and cold chicken for a cold warp.”

“Chicken and rice shred the chicken and warm it in campbells chicken gravy and put over rice, my kids devour this!”
‘I make chicken parmesan chicken . boil egg noodles drain add one stick of butter while hot and coat noodles add three cups sour cream and grated parmesan cheese and the chicken . stir till coated and chicken is warmed by mixture I add garlic powder . serve .”

“Shred add to cooked noodles and Cream of Mushroom soup”

“We’re a family of 2 and we usually buy 2 and make chicken curry out of it ❤️ *freeze 2-3 portions.”

“I have the fastest and most delicious meal! My family begs me to make it every week. Just heat up the cauliflower rice with a little olive oil and piece up the rotisserie chicken and throw it in. I add a bit of red pepper too. Can’t even tell you how delish it is! Takes me 10 minutes to make”

“My no brain easy dinner is nachos.Shred chicken over tortilla chips, add cheese, beans, olives, onions, jalapeños and whatever your kids will like. Bake until melted. Top with sour cream and salsa. My kids love this.”

‘I shred the chicken and put it in 1 gallon ziplocks and freeze them. When I need something quick I take them out thaw them and make things like chicken pot pie casserole, chicken and dumplings, chicken enchiladas, BBQ chicken, chicken tacos, white chicken chili and many other things. The crockpot is my friend.”

’30 minute meals: Pizza crust, bbq sauce, chicken, onion peppers etc.bake till crisp.Chicken, 2 cans of cream of chicken soup, 2 cups milk. Mix.frozen mixed veggies. Salt. Pepper. Mix. Pour in pan. Top with grands biscuits & bake till biscuits are cookedCrescent roll sheet, spread with cream cheese mixed with ranch powder. Spread on sheet. Too with chicken, shredded cheese and (bacon bits optional).Roll up and bake 20-ish minutes. Slice and serve.Dice Chicken, frozen corn, 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, seasonings. Mix & spread in pan. Top with cheese Ansdlayer tater tots on top of cheese. Bake 25 mins at 375.Oven quesadilla. Layer or flour shells on a greased cookie sheet. Top with chicken, salsa, cheese, ranch- whatever. Another layer of tortillas, spray with cooking spray and bake till brown and cheese has meted.Chicken salad sandwichesChicken nachos. – shredded chicken, a jar of white queso, can of diced green Chili’s. Mix together, pour over nacho chips. Top with tomatoes, olives etc2Boxes of tuna helper- add chicken insteadMake 2 packets of Spanish rice, add chicken and top with cheese and sour cream for a mexi-bowl”

‘Costco literally needs to publish an Official Rotisserie Chicken Cookbook!”

“When we take the meat off we toss the carcass in our Instant Pot for 30-60 minutes to get a bone broth that we use as a topper for our dog food. Our pups love it.”

“My daughter make chicken n dumplings from these chicks.”

“I put some of that hot chicken on their croissants. Yum”

“I Boil the bones and I make chicken noodle soup out of it it is so yummy”

“I do that and use the pulled chicken to make a cold pasta salad to keep for munchies in the fridge”

“Chicken Enchalitas, Chicken salad, Chicken & Rice…so many ideas for easy meals. Freeze in 1 cup baggies.”

“I have a food saver so I take all meat off bone and separate what is good for sandwiches and what to use in cooking other dishes with in, and vacuum pack it.”

“I love that I can make chicken broth with the carcass after hubby chows down on it.”
