Fresh Salsa - Pico De Gallo

Ingredients
  

  • 8 Roma Tomatoes Chopped
  • 1/2 Of A Red Onion Equals 1/2 Cup Chopped
  • 1 Jalapeno Equals 1/3 Cup Chopped
  • 2 Handfuls Of Cilantro Equals to just about 1 Cup Chopped
  • 5 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 1 Lime Juiced
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Valentina Hot Sauce ( Optional )

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl add in the chopped tomatoes.
  • Then add in the chopped red onions.
  • Next add in the chopped jalapeno. Remove seeds if you don't want it to be spicy.
  • And add in the chopped cilantro.
  • Then add in the minced garlic.
  • Mix to combine.
  • Add in the last few ingredients lime juice, olive oil, sugar, salt and black pepper.
  • Add in 1 tablespoon of the Valentina Hot Sauce or your favorite Mexican hot sauce. (Optional )
  • Mix well to combine.
  • Cover and refridgerate for an hour to allow the flavors to meld.

  • After removing from the refrigerator, toss the salsa then sprinkle on some black pepper before serving.

Notes

If you would like you can also add some chopped avocados. Just add in the chopped avocados just before serving.
The only ingredient not available at the 99 CENTS ONLY store is the olive oil.
