Canned Sardines In Olive Oil

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Can "Season Brand " Sardines In Olive Oil ( 4.375 0Z )
  • A Handful Of Thinly Sliced Onions ( Cut into 1"- 1 1/2" length )
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Maggi Seasoning
  • Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Pour the olive oil out of the can and into a bowl or dish.
  • Add some thinly sliced onions and mix.
  • Place the sardines on top of the onions and microwave for 45 seconds.
  • Remove from the microwave and drizzle 1/2 tsp of Maggie Seasoning. Carefully toss once or twice . Do not over toss as the fish will break apart into tiny pieces.
  • Sprinkle on black pepper and serve with some freshly cooked hot white rice.

Notes

I prefer the onions in this dish to be slightly raw and crunchy. I believe it tastes best this way but if you'd like it more tender just microwave for another 15-30 seconds.
